Niklas Giannotto

Assistant Coach
Football has been a central part of Niklas Giannotto’s life since childhood, shaping both his playing and coaching career.

Growing up in Germany and Switzerland, Niklas played in competitive leagues like the Coca-Cola Junior League, the top youth division in Switzerland, and Germany’s Landesliga. His on-field achievements include winning the Swiss Junior Cup in 2016 and being selected for the South Germany regional team, experiences that deepened his understanding of the game.

As a coach, Niklas draws on his extensive background in game and video analysis, skills he honed while earning a diploma from the Swiss Football Association. The UEFA B License holder showcased his expertise by contributing to the Swiss national team’s preparation for the 2022 World Cup through individual player analysis. Now, he is dedicated to guiding the next generation of players, providing valuable insights from both a player’s and a coach’s perspective.

Fluent in German, English, and French, Niklas easily connects with people from different cultures, making him an effective communicator and mentor. Academically, he holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sport Management from Hochschule Fresenius Köln, graduating with top grades. He has also completed specialized training courses, including the Diploma in Game and Video Analysis from the Swiss Football Association, the Goalkeeper Basics Course from the German Football Association, coaching certification with Bundesliga side 1. FC Union Berlin, and the Global Scouting License from WARUBI Sports.
