Residential Soccer Program

The Soccer Academy Residency Program with Sportwerk, designed for talented players looking to elevate their game, offers 9 months of top-level training and competition that aligns with Germany’s Bundesliga schedule. The program begins in August and runs until May, with a month-long break for the holidays from mid-December to mid-January.

Road to European Soccer

The Sportwerk Residency Academy Program provides international players with an immersive experience in the German soccer culture, utilizing cutting-edge training technology. The players reside, learn, and train at Sportwerk’s elite facility in Ochtrup, Germany. They will live in apartment-style dormitories, dine in a full-service cafeteria, compete on fields of Bundesliga caliber, and train in a state-of-the-art, multi-purpose indoor center.

Top Soccer Facility

Sportwerk is a brand-new, state-of-the-art soccer-specific training facility that offers an all-encompassing campus for elite players who aim to play at the highest level of German soccer. Players will have full access to professional-grade training facilities, top-notch living accommodations, and highly qualified coaches and trainers. Located in the heart of German soccer, players will have the opportunity to compete against the best competition Germany has to offer.

The goal of Sportwerk is to help players achieve their full potential, and this is facilitated by the use of advanced coordinative and cognitive training technology which allows for specific improvement of athletic and tactical-technical skills. Only a select few Bundesliga clubs offer such an exceptional level of training.

German Classes at the Football School

Each participant has to take German classes (3-5x/week) while participating in the football school program. Being able to speak the local language will not only increase your chance to play professional soccer, but it will also have a tremendous impact on future study and job opportunities.

When does it start?

The residential program starts year-round on July 1st, October 1st, January 3rd, and April 1st. It is possible to join the program for 3, 6, or 12 months.
