Tanner Summers is an ambitious footballer from the United States, having played for Crossfire U18 ECRL, Crossfire U17 ECNL2, and Washington Rush.

Tanner joins the FC Köln Bundesliga Talent Squad in Germany, driven by his desire to learn German, take a gap year to improve his skills, and experience something unique that few people ever get the chance to do.

He chose the German Soccer Academy System to immerse himself in a new culture and elevate his game during this once-in-a-lifetime experience. Tanner is looking forward to embracing the local culture, especially pretzels, bratwurst, and beer, while pursuing his football dreams.

Tanner’s ultimate goal is to play for Arsenal FC and become a professional footballer. Beyond football, his life goals include traveling the world, becoming self-sustainable, and building a strong family foundation.

He is inspired by Luka Modric, admiring how Modric has shown that dedication and passion can lead to extraordinary achievements, including winning the Ballon d’Or and putting his country on the global football stage.

Off the field, Tanner enjoys cooking, with carbonara and his mom’s spaghetti as his favorite meals. He also loves hiking and has a passion for music.
