Shuaib Sulaiman is a footballer from South Africa with experience playing across multiple levels, from youth leagues to semi-professional football. His football journey has taken him through teams such as Ashford Athletic (U9), Santos (U12 & U14), Rygersdal (U16, U18 & Senior First Team), and Paarl United (semi-pro).

Shuaib has achieved several accolades, including being named Player of the Season for both Ashford U9 and Santos U14. With Santos, he also helped his team win the league and the league knockout title. Most recently, he played in the Nedbank Cup Round of 32 qualifiers with Paarl United, demonstrating his ability to compete at a high level.

Shuaib joins the FC Köln Bundesliga Talent Squad in Germany, attracted by the strong development program and the competitive environment that German football offers. His ultimate goal is to reach the professional level, while his personal ambition is to constantly improve both as a footballer and a person.

He chose the German Soccer Academy System because of its excellent development opportunities and the love for football that permeates the culture. Shuaib believes Germany provides the perfect environment for him to grow and achieve his goals.

Outside of football, Shuaib has always excelled in a variety of sports, reaching high levels in each one he pursued. His long-term goals are to continuously improve on and off the field, using football as a tool for personal growth.

A fan of Manchester City, Shuaib also admires Joshua Kimmich for his mentality and desire to learn, improve, and win. Off the field, Shuaib enjoys chicken and rice as his favorite meal and remains passionate about sports in general.
