Curren Maxson is a footballer from America with a wealth of experience from youth to semi-professional levels. His football journey has taken him through Brevard Soccer Academy (U13-U18) in the Sunshine Conference, and he has also played in the UPSL with FISA, reaching the playoffs and the Round of 8 in the state cup.
Curren joins the FC Köln Bundesliga Talent Squad in Germany with the goal of improving his game and securing a soccer scholarship for college. His ambition is to play collegiate soccer and explore opportunities to play professionally after earning his degree.
He chose the German Soccer Academy System because of its strong football culture and the belief that it will provide the best environment to further his development. Curren is eager to experience the intensity and structure of German football, which aligns perfectly with his goals.
Beyond football, Curren enjoys surfing and fishing, and he’s excited to immerse himself in German culture while pursuing his dreams. His long-term goal is to earn a degree while continuing to play soccer at the highest level possible.
A fan of Tottenham Hotspur, Curren looks up to Sergio Ramos for his aggressive and determined style of defending. Off the field, he loves burgers and enjoys spending time near the water.
