Jorge Arcila Caceres – Head Coach
Jorge Arcila Caceres brings a wealth of international experience to GSA. Having coached youth teams at FC Barcelona and Atletico Madrid, he has been leading the FC Köln Bundesliga Talent Squad since 2019. Jorge holds the UEFA Pro License, the highest coaching certification globally, and is fluent in Spanish, German, and English, facilitating seamless communication with players. 
Herbert ‘Zimbo’ Zimmermann – Head Coach
Herbert “Zimbo” Zimmermann is celebrated as one of 1. FC Köln’s most successful players. His illustrious career includes German championships with FC Bayern Munich and 1. FC Köln, multiple German Cup victories, and a European Cup win. An integral part of Germany’s 1980 European Championship-winning team, Herbert’s contributions to soccer have been honored with the Silver Laurel Leaf, Germany’s highest sports award. 
Christopher Griebsch – Recruiting Coordinator
Christopher Griebsch’s journey from the German youth Bundesliga academy system to NCAA Division 1 soccer at Hofstra University exemplifies his dedication to the sport. At Hofstra, he led the Colonial Athletic Association in assists for three consecutive years and earned the CAA Conference Player of the Year title. His professional career spans clubs in Cyprus, Australia, and Germany, providing him with a comprehensive understanding of soccer development pathways. 
Karoline Heinze – Team Manager
Karoline Heinze is a former German youth international who played for the Bundesliga academy of Turbine Potsdam and for the Bundesliga teams FF USV Jena and Bayer 04 Leverkusen. She also gained experience in the United States as part of the UCF women’s soccer team (NCAA D1).
Luca-Miro Zampolin – Video Analyst
Luca-Miro Zampolin combines academic excellence with practical expertise in sports performance analysis. He holds a Master’s in Psychology in Sport and Exercise from the German Sport University Cologne, a Bachelor’s in Sports and Performance, and has completed specialized training in game analysis as part of the German National Team’s preparation process. Fluent in German, English, Italian, and Spanish, Luca also possesses a UEFA B+ Level coaching license.
Max Bisinger – Assistant Coach
Max Bisinger combines a strong academic foundation with impressive athletic achievements. Holding a Bachelor’s in Business Administration and an MBA from a prestigious AACSB-accredited institution—recognized among the top 5% of business schools globally—he has earned honors such as All-American and Defensive Player of the Year in the NCAA and NAIA. His playing career in Germany included competing against notable professional players, and his coaching experience extends to mentoring players as a Playing Assistant Coach in the NPSL. Max holds a UEFA-B coaching license and is fluent in German, English, French, and Spanish. 
Niklas Giannotto – Assistant Coach
Niklas Giannotto’s lifelong passion for soccer is evident in his diverse experiences across Germany and Switzerland. His playing career includes winning the Swiss Junior Cup and selection for the South Germany regional team. As a coach, Niklas specializes in game and video analysis, having earned a diploma from the Swiss Football Association.
He contributed to the Swiss national team’s preparation for the 2022 World Cup and holds a UEFA B license. Niklas also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sport Management and is fluent in German, English, and French.
