Rowen Skinner is a footballer from the United States with experience playing for clubs like Elite (U8-U13), Pegasus FC (U12-U14), and PennFusion (U15-U18).

Now, Rowen joins the FC Köln Bundesliga Talent Squad in Germany, excited for the opportunity to live in a different country, learn the language and culture, and grow both as a soccer player and as a person.

He chose the German Soccer Academy System because of the unique opportunity to experience a different culture, learn new perspectives, and develop both on and off the field. While he knows that Germans can sometimes seem strict or direct, he appreciates their strong emphasis on rules and discipline.

Rowen’s long-term goals are to play soccer in college and pursue a career as a lawyer. He is a passionate Manchester United fan and looks up to Lionel Messi for his exceptional soccer IQ and playing style.

Off the field, Rowen enjoys currywurst and has a quirky talent—he can fold his tongue.
